Larry phillips

executive director/President

Larry began serving as Executive Director with GGF in April 2016, after serving with the IMB in East Asia for 32 years.  During that time Larry served as Business Manager, Church Planter, and with Charlotte, initiated work with a large unreached people group of over seven million.  Larry supervised teams all over Asia and had the privilege of celebrating with fellow missionaries as thousands of churches were planted and many from those people groups came into the Kingdom.

Larry earned BBA and MBA degrees from University of North Texas and was a businessman with a large USA corporation before the Lord got hold of his heart in 1972.  Before going to the mission field he served as Director of Evangelism at a large church in Denver.  Larry also has a Master’s Degree in Missiology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and studied Cantonese Chinese, at Yale in China, Hong Kong.

As Executive Director, a key priority for Larry is to raise up new missionaries to take the Gospel to the Ends of the Earth.
